Jan Luyken Amsterdam Hotel

The room was comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, recommending restaurants and making reservations for us. The location of the hotel was great, with a tram stop just a short walk away. This made it easy for us to explore the city and get to all the attractions.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel located in an excellent upscale area on a quiet tree-lined street. The location was superb, within easy walking distance of the center and close to transportation for easy exploration of the city. The staff was professional and the room was impeccably clean. The breakfast provided was delicious and there were several great restaurants in the area. We even had a pleasant view from our room.

The room did feel a bit dated and musty, which was a slight letdown compared to the overall experience.

I stayed at Jan Luyken for a few days to explore the museums in the area. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijt Museum. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with maps and great recommendations for exploring the city. The room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely bathroom. The train and bus connections were conveniently close by. the customer service was exceptional, making our stay extremely enjoyable.

There was plenty of food for breakfast, including pastries and breads. Got guest room with a kettle, wonderful comfy bed, for instance as expected. From the moment we arrived the attentive staff made us feel welcomed.

Great location: the hotel is conveniently located close to the main museums and is perfect for city walks. It offers easy access to the cultural center of the city.

Small bathroom: the bathroom in the room was quite small, making it a bit uncomfortable, especially for larger individuals.

All the staff was genuinely helpful. Silent & functional unit with tea, coffee, a kettle. Plenty of food at breakfast, such as slices of fresh bread, eggs, bacon and pastries. Cosy hotel and great service...

The breakfast definitely has to be included in the price.

Conveniently located near major tourist attractions and tram stop, friendly staff, lovely and clean rooms with tasteful decor, breakfast was delicious with a long serving window, and served in a unique setting. a comfortable and peaceful stay.

The whole place was fairly clean, I liked it, and had great location and staff. 5 minutes on foot and you're near the bus stop.

Some guests mentioned that the spa was broken and the additional cost of 15 euros to use it was a bit expensive.

The hotel is located in a lovely quiet residential street close to almost all the museums, making it a great location for those interested in exploring the city's cultural offerings. As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely comfortable and safe during my stay. The staff at the reception were exceptional and went above and beyond to assist me. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the nearby art galleries and high-end shopping street.

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful boutique hotel in the museum quarter. The location was perfect, just a short walk from all the major museums, attractions, and shopping. The hotel itself was set in a quiet street with beautiful trees and a tranquil atmosphere. The staff were fabulous, especially Saskia in the kitchen and Desley and Maud at reception. Our room was spotless and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed spending time in the bar and lounge, which offered a light menu. our experience at Jan Luyken Amsterdam was excellent, and we would highly recommend it.

The bathroom was designed for taller people, which made it a bit inconvenient for us. Additionally, some of the room amenities and facilities were a bit strange and not very practical.
